I Love my METime
and sharing our Cozy+METime story
My name is Daria Via, and after many years in the hospitality industry, I felt called to create something more meaningful something rooted in connection, creativity, and purpose. That calling became clear during the unexpected challenges of the 2021 pandemic, when my primary source of income was reduced by more than 60%. What could have been a setback became the spark that pushed me to build something lasting.
Candles have always been part of my MeTime a way to unwind, reflect, and set the tone for life’s most important moments. As I began learning more about the products I was using, I discovered that many candles contained chemicals and unnecessary additives that could impact our health. I wanted a better option not just for myself, but for others seeking a safer, more intentional experience.
That desire led to the creation of Cozy + MeTime Candles and, eventually, our candle-making workshops.
What began as hand-poured candles for family and friends grew into a hands-on experience designed to bring people together. Through countless hours of practice, testing, and learning, I created an all-natural soy candle and a workshop experience that allows participants to slow down, unplug, and create something meaningful with their own hands.
Our candle-making workshops are more than just learning how to pour a candle they are about connection. Whether you’re attending with friends, coworkers, or as an individual looking for creative self-care, each workshop is intentionally designed to be welcoming, relaxing, and empowering. Guests leave not only with a custom candle, but with a sense of accomplishment, inspiration, and renewed MeTime.
My hope is to provide a safer, healthier candle experience while creating spaces where creativity, community, and self-care meet. Through workshops, events, and shared moments, Cozy + MeTime Candles invites you to slow down, create intentionally, and rediscover the joy of making something uniquely your own.
Because MeTime is better when it’s shared.
